ISO 45001 is the internationally recognised occupational health and safety management system standard. Product Health
Arpa HPL and FENIX are certified according to the following certification schemes:
(Arpa HPL) Greenguard – products certified for indoor use in spaces meeting strict chemical emissions limits, helping to reduce indoor air pollution and the risk of chemical exposure.

(FENIX) Greenguard Gold – products certified for indoor use in spaces meeting even stricter chemical emissions limits, helping to reduce indoor air pollution and the risk of chemical exposure.

Suitability for contact with foodstuff – our materials are approved for contact with food in accordance with Reg. EU 10/2011 and following amendments.
REACH Regulation – Arpa HPL and FENIX are materials classified as non-hazardous. No chemical substances listed on the candidate list of Substances of Very High Concern in concentrations exceeding 0.1 percentage by mass, taking the REACH regulation applicable on the day of issue of this statement into account. As down streamer user of chemical substances, we are exempted from registration or notification.
Environment
As part of and based on our certified LCA management system, we have published EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations) for the following product ranges: Arpa HPL 0.9 mm and Arpa HPL Bloom 0.7 mm, and for the entire FENIX range.
An EPD is a document which transparently communicates the environmental impact of a product over its lifetime, calculated using the LCA method. Our LCA management system (EPD process) is certified by an accredited third party as of November 2022. The certification covers the entire process of an EPD development and publication.

NCS 16785:2016 – bio-based content of Arpa thin HPL with Bloom core technology is certified by an accredited third party with a declared minimum 64% bio-based content. FENIX NTM Bloom is certified by an accredited third party with a declared minimum 67% bio-based content.
Responsibly managed forest certifications
Arpa Industriale adopted a Due Diligence system as required by the EUTR Regulation n. 995/2010 that allows to assess the risk of placing illegally harvested wood on the European market. A communication on the origin of the paper used in our products is available upon request.
Arpa high quality surfaces and FENIX Innovative Materials are also available upon request with FSC® and PEFC (PEFC/18-32-119) certifications.
FSC® is a voluntary certification promoted by the Forest Stewardship Council® that supports responsible forestry.

Similarly, PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) ensures that paper or wood products come from sustainably managed forests.

Nordic Swan Ecolabel (FENIX NTM) – an environmental labelling scheme certifying that a product or service complies with the requirements for the label, i.e. resource efficiency, reduced climate impact, circular economy, conservation of biodiversity, and health.

M1 – Emission Class for Building Material Certification according to the Building Information Foundation RTS – it promotes the development and use of low-emitting building materials, fixed furniture, and office furniture.
